Timber framed conservatory restoration project
At Conservatory Advice we were asked to repair this timber framed conservatory that was built over 20 years ago using hardwood timber. Unfortunately, at the build stage, the joints where the uprights meet the sill were left vulnerable to water ingress. Over the years this resulted in water settling in the joints leading to the timber rotting. This resulted in a weakened unsightly structure and water seeping inside the conservatory causing more damage.
By cutting out the rotting hardwood timber where it joined the sills and also the areas of rotting sills and replacing bad timber with precision cut new hardwood replacements the problem areas were fixed.
After restoring the hardwood timber conservatory frame the whole conservatory timber frame was then repainted with high quality specialised paint.
The conservatory repair job was completed.
On completion the client said "Thank you so much for doing such an efficient and professional job. My brother is extremely impressed."
